BW 2006 Shirt Artwork - Back

This is what will be SCREEN-PRINTED on the back of the new 2006 Ballwasher Golf Shirt in recognition of our distinguished leagues's 20th Anniversary.

Our new Ballwasher Pirate mascot image began with the following copyright-free graphic obtained from the internet.

I took this image and, with the assistance of AwardStoreandMore.com, modified the pirate to "Ballwasher-ize" it.
  • There were about 30 different slogan options that we looked at before we settled upon the final candidate "Making Dreams Come True, One Moist Towelette At a Time!"
  • I'll take the credit for removing the sword and replacing it with the golf club that he holds menacingly overhead. Damn I'm good!
  • There's some very subtle Ballwasher symbolism on our new Pirate's hat. Take a close look at the "skull & crossbones" on the hat. The upper part of the "skull" is the letter "B"laid flat on it's back, and the lower part of the "skull" is a rounded "W". Who can guess what the "BW" represents? And naturally, the skull needed red eyes to capture the natural look of true Ballwashers everywhere.
  • The original Pirate graphic had TWELVE (12) different colors! Keeping that many colors would've added significant shirt production costs, so we came up with a new scheme that reduced it down to EIGHT colors which went a long way toward keeping costs in line. This is another area where the help of AwardStoreandMore was essential! The final color-scheme is ALSO somewhat reminiscent of the original THREE-color Ballwasher golf jersey (See Image Below).

  • The parrot on the Pirate's shoulder has a single red feather on its head. Use your imagination to view this as representative of "Ballwasher Defiance", with our parrot's feather giving the finger to anyone who gives a Ballwasher ANY SHIT!
  • The Pirate graphic stands proudly upon a patch of gray.
Our thanks go out to Penny & Kerri at AwardStoreandMore.com for their invaluable assistance with this effort.
